Computer-Use Agent
An agent that operates a computer through screenshots, keyboard, and mouse — the same interface a human would use — rather than through APIs. Examples: Anthropic's Computer Use (Claude), Google's Project Mariner. Opens automation of any GUI application, at the cost of latency and reliability.

A class of LLMs (OpenAI o-series, Claude with extended thinking, DeepSeek-R1) trained to spend significant inference-time compute on internal reasoning before producing the final answer.
